The President’s Award-Kenya: Empowering Young Change-Makers
The President’s Award-Kenya (PA-K) is an exciting self-development programme open to all young people across the country. Designed to equip participants with positive life skills, PA-K is part of the globally renowned Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, a non-formal education and learning framework operating in over 130 countries and territories. Through this programme, learners develop resilience, leadership, and a commitment to community service—qualities that shine brightly in our PA-K Club’s tree-planting initiative.
By engaging in hands-on activities like tree planting, our learners are not only honing their teamwork and problem-solving skills but also making a tangible impact on the environment. Each tree they plant is a step toward reducing carbon footprints, combating deforestation, and fostering biodiversity in the Chemelil Area.
